Below is a list of questions people always ask concerning Christian Faith and/or bible. We have compiled these questions and attempted to provide biblically based answers though not exhaustive, but will suffice as good foundation to understanding what the Bible has to say about any of the questions. Question:
If God is so good, why is the world experiencing so much pain?
Answer:
In the beginning when God created the world, everything was good (Genesis 1:31). The sin of disobedience made the world to become a fallen world ever since (Romans 5:12). The enmity between the serpent (Satan) and the woman seed has made the devil to inflict pain on the world (Genesis 3:15).
Question: Is God real?
Answer: Yes.
Question: How do you know God is real?
Answer: He made all things (Genesis 1:1). He made Himself known to many people in the Bible and even in modern days (Genesis 28:12-13, Exodus 3:13, Acts 9:3-5).
Question: What happens when people die?
Answer: Hebrews 9:27.After death judgment. We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ.. 2 Corinthians 5:10
Question: Can good people go to hell?
Answer: No one is good except God Mark 10:18. All our righteousness (goodness) does not measure up to God’s righteousness Isaiah 64:6. People will go to hell because they do not receive Jesus. John 3:36.
Question: Is Jesus God?
Answer: Yes. 1 John 1:23, John 10:30. God and Jesus are one. Jesus said it Himself.
Question: Is Jesus the Son of God?
Answer: Yes. John 9:35-37, Luke 1:31-32.
Questions: Are there angels?
Answer: Yes, but there are good and bad angels. The good angels are from God and they deliver God’s message to people and also help people when in trouble (Luke 1:30, Acts 27:23, Acts 6:19-20). The bad ones are the fallen angels known as demons, they work for Satan to deceive and attack people with pain, sickness and other bad things (James 2:19, 2 Corinthians 11:13-14).
Question: What will happen to the world eventually?
Answer: It will be destroyed to make way for a new earth and a new heaven where there will be no more death and pain. 2 Peter 3:8, 2Peter 3:10, Revelation 21:1).
Question: Will Jesus really come back?
Answer: Yes. Acts 1:11, Revelation 16:15, Revelation 1:7, John 14:3.
Question: How do we know Jesus will come back?
Answer: He gave us some signs to look for. Matthew 24:3-12, 2Timothy 3:1-4.
Question: Why should I accept Jesus?
Answer: So as to go to heaven John 3:16, John 10:28, John 1:4, Matthew 1:21
Question: How do I get saved?
Answer: Pray to Jesus to forgive your sin. Accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Believe and confess that He is the Son of God. Romans 10:9-10, 13, Isaiah 19:20, Acts 2:38, Joel 2:32.
Question: Are my sins too big for God to forgive?
Answer: No. Isaiah 1:18, Jeremiah 33:8, Hebrews 8:12.
Question: Are there big sins and small sins?
Answer: No. All unrighteousness is sin. 1 John 5:17.
Question: What is sin leading unto death and sin not leading unto death?
Answer: Sin leading to spiritual death is the one that takes one out of faith, or makes one deny Jesus (Hebrews 6:4-6). Lack of paying tithes or offerings may not lead to spiritual death but there will be the definite consequence of financial troubles.
Question: When God forgives, does that also erase the consequences of that sin?
Answer: No. God’s forgiveness stops God’s judgment on the matter, but earthly results cannot be averted. (Galatians 6:7). It is called the law of sowing and reaping.
